How to install or use the web app

Open Coral as a desktop web application and install it when the browser offers that choice.

Open the release URL supplied with the 0.2.5 artifact. The Welcome dialog appears after the application and its local shell load.
Select the browser's install action when it is available. The installed app opens without browser chrome and keeps the same local documents.
When Update Coral appears, save or make recovery-safe any current work, then choose Update Coral to restart on the named version, or Later to defer it. Coral does not silently activate an update over dirty work.
After one successful online load, restart the core editor offline. Saved files and browser-local recovery remain available; provider AI and an uncached Whisper model do not.
If installation is unavailable, continue in the browser. The same editor regions and local document behavior remain available.

Firefox is supported as a web application. Coral cannot be installed from Firefox.

Coral supports desktop browsers only. Mobile browsers are not supported.

Result

Coral is open as an installed app or as the supported web fallback.
